Holy field - Taylor

WAYNE COUNTY, MS (WDAM)- Robert Holy field and Colby Allen Taylor have each been charged with aggravated assault for attempting to run down an officer with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

On November 24, law enforcement with the Department responded to a call in Wayne County alleging deer head lighting and cattle killing. Upon the authorities' arrival, Holy field and Taylor fled the scene and allegedly attempted to run down one of the officers at a road block nearby.

Shots were fired by the officers who slowed down the vehicle, but Taylor and Holy field were able to get away.

Both were apprehended Monday; thanks to a tip by a confidential informant. Both are being held on a $250,000 bond.
