Clara School in Wayne County engulfed in flames | News

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM)- According to County Fire Chief Rufus
Landrum, there will be no school Monday for students who attend Clara School in
Wayne County.

At approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday the K - 8th
grade school was reported to be engulfed in flames.

Southwest District Commander Josh West
says the auditorium as well as the 1st - 4th grade
building was caught on fire. West says there was also some minor damages in the 5th - 8th grade area.

County Fire Chief Rufus Landrum says the
cause of the fire is still unknown and currently under investigation.
